Where is mathematics, physically?

In this brief reflection, I argue that the arrival of AI may not be bad news for mathematics, but the opposite. However, it requires a change of paradigm in which we do. I illustrate my viewpoint with the analogy of the discovery of new lands during the Age of Discovery.
